We invite you to continue exploring the animal theme we are working on at Noah’s Ark.

Here are some suggestions of activities that you can do with your child.

Animals around town – Places to visit:

More suggestions:

  • Take pictures of your pet or any other animals that you encounter.
  • Look for animals in magazines and pamphlets together. If you watch television, point out animals and name them. Watch movies about animals such as "Jungle Book", "Ice Age", "The Lion King", etc.
  • Rent documentaries about real animals in the wild.
  • Look for small animals at the park such as worms, insects and butterflies. Bring ants to school! (In a container, of course, and we will construct an ant farm together)

  • Experiment with different temperatures. With food, point out what is cold or hot. When preparing the bath, talk about how cold or warm the water is.
  • When getting dressed, talk about the type of clothing that you are putting on. ("I’m putting a jacket on you because it´s winter and it´s cold").
